Joel Poole

Joel began his career in the financial services industry working as an insurance professional and at large wire-house environments. Although he enjoyed those positions, he wanted to expand the services he could offer to his clients. His purpose is to educate and assist clients with retirement planning and asset accumulation, and joining Principal® has helped enable him to do just that. Joel's core work values are honesty, compassion, responsibility, and dependability. He finds great reward in watching his clients work towards a better financial future.

Joel is a United States Army veteran and obtained a degree in computer networking from Strayer University. He has his FINRA Series 6, 7 & 66 registrations, and his North Carolina life, accident & health, and variable insurance & variable annuity license.

As an active member of his community, Joel is involved in the Veterans Bridge Home, St. Paul's Baptist Church, Metrolina Real Estate Association, and Mecklenburg County Sports & Recreation. He enjoys softball, golf, and spending time with friends and family, particularly his wife of 23 years, and their 5 children.
